I'm Kane, The man who hides behind the camera, chasing light, observe for great story. The journey has worked out by self-taught and surrounding inspirations.
I did a lot of seeking to find what a photograph is so distinguished for. I looked up the meaning of love and it means to be the pure and raw emotion to keep human beings together. What a photographer should do. In my later journey, I have thought and found a happy person in capturing life, the stories, the feelings, and the expression. Every subject is just unique and so do my clients. They are one of the kinds that can bring a sensibility into their own photograph and eventually create moments that are honest, energetic, and inviting. Simply put, I’m obsessed with the art of love and look for any opportunity to showcase the real, non-imitable images.
As much as I’m passionate in making photographs, I believe that natural light often pairs well with the great photograph of love. It’s bit of my concept, frankly. But on my portfolio, I want you to be able to feel the way you were at that point even after years. Simplicity and love…

I am a strong believer in human connection and no one need to be perfect/photogenic when you standing in-front of the camera. After spending a years after a years in holding camera, i realise every pairs carrying different story and personality in between of them. I'm about capturing the one who you truly are, telling your stories in a sincere way.
I want this to be more on you. I really want every single photograph means exclusive to both of you. Whats really matter for me is you come out of it loving each other.

To me, photography isn't just holding the camera and press the shutter button. To me, photography is writing with light, a poetry creation between light and shadow. Photography putting human connection, perspective and soul into an image.
Real emotion always has a strong impact to me no matter how many weddings i had shot. Involving in different wedding, showering in the happiness moments, observing different incident happened during the event could be the most important elements to construct my style.
As a wedding storyteller, my photographs is all about expressing yourself as an individual. As a human being. Mine works might seen different from a usual wedding photographs, but every single frame created with true connection.
Rain, hail or shine, I won’t miss a beat
Communication always is the key to unlock a good story. That's why i always love to meet you in person before any shoot to know you more or vice versa. Good communication building trust, and also a comfortable vibe during our shoot. During the meet up, I would love to hear your stories, discuss about the plan, sharing my advice to ensure the days flows smoothly.
On your big day, i would love you just to be yourself, enjoy the moments when it came, no matter the good one or bad one. Just believe every moments came with a reason or it's just a part of the god's plan. Fill your day with Love and surround with the persons who mean important in your live. I'll be your eyes of the day, document the story for you. Begin at first light to capture the mother-of-the-bride and the bridal squad helping the bride get ready. Or the groomsmen sneaking a few drinks to calm their nerves.
I’ll be there in the centre of it all or as a wallflower behind the scenes, photographing moments and details that you might’ve missed (e.g. Aunty Doris getting drunk on the d-floor).
Can't survive a day without a Cup of coffee.
As many of you might know this from my personal IG @kane.cy, I am a heavy coffee drinker in real life. I explore nice cafe every single corner in the world. The best thing about a destination wedding for me definitely could be able to explore the local cafe and spend a day with loads of Long-Black coffee.
When I'm not shooting/editing, my day definitely contribute to my movie/netflix time. Wong-Kar-Wai directed movie always my favourite one and i can rewatch them again and again without any hesitation.
Exploring the world, being with the humans i love. Nothing better than travelling with my favourite pairs all around the world. Share the laughter together in plane, journey, great food. Not a working trip, more like a camp fire session between you and me.
That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favourite things. No matter who and where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth, with a different story to share. No tale is one and the same. And that’s why I LOVE documenting love stories (and hopefully yours too!)
